On October 13, Armenian Ambassador to France Hasmik Tolmajian met the Speaker of the French National Assembly, Yaël Braun-Pivet. The Ambassador thanked for the warm reception, standing in support of Armenia and efforts aimed at strengthening Armenian-French friendship.
During the meeting, Ambassador Tolmajian thoroughly referred to both the war unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) in 2020, as well as the aggression of Azerbaijan against the sovereign territory of Armenia in September of this year and the war crimes committed by the Azerbaijani side.
The importance of a united international response was emphasized in order to stop the aggression of the aggressor state and to establish lasting peace in the South Caucasus.
