The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, spoke with the leaders of the CIS countries about work and relations between the countries. The President said that the CIS partners are concerned about the development of relations between the Russian Federation and Ukraine, and he informs them in detail about the situation, but this does not affect the depth of relations between the countries, RIA Novosti reports.
“Of course, the partners are interested and worried about the further development of relations in the Russian-Ukrainian direction. It is true, there is nothing so unexpected here, and I inform our partners about this in detail,” Putin said.
He also added that the communication formats of the CIS countries are in demand.
“Our allies, our partners want to work in such formats, nothing changes in this sense.”
Putin also added: "We pay attention to some events related to relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as to what is happening between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. We all know that very well.”
