The European Union is preparing to deploy its observation mission to Armenia along the border with Azerbaijan. Former French ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Armenia Jonathan Lacôte wrote on his Facebook.
"The European Union is preparing to deploy its observation mission to Armenia, along the border with Azerbaijan. For the first time since the start of the conflict in 1988, an international presence is established on the ground, at the initiative of France and EU. This mission was announced at the end of the quadrilateral meeting held in Prague,” Lacôte wrote.
