Chairman of the Competition Protection Commission of Armenia Gegham Gevorgyan and President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection of Poland Tomasz Chróstny signed a memorandum of cooperation in Warsaw on the implementation of the competition legislation and in the field of competition policy, the Competition Protection Commission said in a news release.
“I am happy that the cooperation ties between our structures are developing in many ways. This meeting with Polish partners is already the 6th since 2020, which, undoubtedly, is another proof of effectively developing collaboration between our two agencies,” Gegham Gevorgyan said.
He added that several measures have been taken to introduce Polish experience in Armenia within the frames of joint projects, including several legislative regulations in the field of applying discounts. In addition, a new legislative initiative is now being prepared aimed at regulating the legal relations between trade networks and suppliers, particularly solving the issues of payment delays.
