Russia does not organize any geopolitical or other games on humanitarian issues, stated the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, referring to the exchange of prisoners of war (POWs) between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
“With the mediation of the Russian Federation in 2020 after the end of military operations, a total of 147 arrested persons were returned: 128 to the Armenian side, 19 to the Azerbaijani side. Moscow consistently calls on Baku and Yerevan to finally close this topic, to return the detainees on the principle of ‘all for all’,” the diplomat emphasized.
