US Embassy in Armenia issued a press release on the meeting between Mher Grigoryan, Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister and US Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy.
“During an October 3 meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, Ambassador Tracy highlighted continued U.S. engagement towards a lasting peace in the region. She reiterated that use of force is not an acceptable path and underscored that Azerbaijan should return its troops to their initial positions”, the embassy stated.
