Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan held a meeting with a delegation led by World Bank’s Country Manager for Armenia Carolin Geginat.
Issues pertaining to new formats of cooperation in the area of labor and social protection were discussed, as well as the Social Protection Administration Project II, the ministry said in a press release.
The current results of the project have been summed up. Information on the commissioned and under development regional centers of the Unified Social Service was conveyed. The possibility of result-based financing-format cooperation was discussed, and at the same time the importance of joining efforts for the full introduction of the Unified Information System, the construction of the Unified Social Service headquarters, and development of human capital was emphasized.
The parties expressed readiness to continue joining efforts for the continuous development of the labor and social protection area.
