"Carnegie" Foundation analyst Thomas de Waal commented on the killing of unarmed Armenian soldiers by Azerbaijani servicemen.
Publishing on his Twitter microblog the comment of the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia, Toivo Klaar, about the killing of Armenian prisoners of war, Thomas de Waal wrote: “The impunity and lack of investigation into the war crimes of the 2020 war is fueling new atrocities. This is an atrocity. And today is the apparent murder of seven unarmed Armenian men (published - ed.) during the recent invasion of Azerbaijan. I am glad to see the EU's response to this issue.”
“If this video is proven to be authentic, this is a war crime that must be investigated and the perpetrators must be punished,” wrote Toivo Klaar.
