On September 29, a protest was held in front of the Iranian Embassy in Baku, oficially “against violations of the rights of citizens and repressions against women in Iran”.
Several dozen participants in the action chanted: "Freedom to South Azerbaijan!", "Down with the mullah regime!", "Death to Iran!", "Down with the dictator"!
Then they read out the appeal and handed it over to the embassy. The police in front of the embassy did not intervene and there were not incident.
The provocateurs also showed the symbol of the "Grey Wolves" extremist organization.
The participants of the action issues a statement, which was forwarded to the Iranian Embassy.
Pan-Turkist nationalists in Iran have also organized provocations in the Turkic-speaking provinces of Iran, again raising slogans about the so-called "South Azerbaijan".
