Rapid response collective forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will hold military exercises in Kazakhstan from September 26 to October 8, Interfax reports citing the Kazakh defense ministry’s press statement.
The drills called “Mutual Impact-2022”, “Search-2022”, “Echelon-2022” will take place in Kazakhstan’s Jambyl and Almaty regions.
It was reported that the new joint formation of the CSTO RCB protection and medical support will participate in the drills for the first time.
During the “Search-2022” military drills, issues of organizing and conducting intelligence by the forces and measures of intelligence agencies of the CSTO member states will be developed.
“Echelon-2022” drills will focus on developing logistics organization issues.
CSTO member states are Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
