The Mayor of Yerevan sent a congratulatory message to the Mayor and citizens of Stepanakert on the occasion of Artsakh’s (Nagorno-Karabakh) Capital Day. The message reads:
“On the occasion of the Day of Stepanakert, the capital of Artsakh, on behalf of myself and the people of Yerevan, I congratulate the people of Stepanakert and my colleague, Mayor Davit Sargsyan.
City Day is another occasion to state that despite the difficulties caused by the war, Artsakh’s Armenians found strength and will to work and ensure the normal life of the city. The cooperation formed between the two Armenian capitals will continue, and I am sure that with joint efforts we will be able to contribute to the development of the capital Stepanakert and gradually overcoming the existing problems.
I wish a peaceful sky to Yerevan's sister city Stepanakert.”
