The Armenian Red Cross Society, as an auxiliary organization to the Government in the humanitarian field, in cooperation and coordination with the RA government, particularly with RA Ministry of Labor and Social affairs, and local self-government bodies, is providing humanitarian assistance based on severe needs in the form of food, clothing, hygiene, basic necessities, bedding, First aid kits to the affected and displaced population of Gegharkunik, Vayots Dzor and Syunik provinces.
In addition to the initial response, the ARCS jointly with the ICRC conducts a rapid assessment of humanitarian needs of internally displaced persons in the aftermath of the recent escalation of the conflict, in order to continue an appropriate response.

The ARCS constantly updates the database of people applying through Hotlines, passing it onto the Primary Need Registration Platform of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
The psychologists of the ARCS provide psychological aid to the relatives of wounded, dead and missing servicemen and the displaced families face-to-face (in the territory of the Central Clinical Military Hospital, in Vardenis, Martuni), online (Kndzoresk, Kornidzor, Tegh, Sotk, Mets Masrik), and through the Hotline (all RA regions).
