Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, speaking at the UN General Secretariat, stated that “a comprehensive peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan is possible in the shortest terms.”
He stated that they "took steps" to "support" the current processes between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
“Although the recent armed clashes overshadowed that process, we believe that it is possible to reach the signing of a peace agreement between the two countries in the shortest possible time. We will always be next to our Azerbaijani brothers in establishing their rights and future,” he said.
Erdogan also noted that the unblocking of transportation links in the region will become an important event for all regional countries.
