Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan held a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexey Overchuk.
Overchuk is heading a delegation to Armenia to participate in the 9th Armenian-Russian Inter-Regional Conference, the Armenian-Russian Business Dialogue and the meeting of the Co-Chairs of the Armenian-Russian Inter-Governmental Commission for Economic Cooperation, the Prime Minister’s Office said.
PM Pashinyan said that despite the ongoing tension on the border caused by the Azerbaijani aggression, a decision was made not to postpone the events which are aimed at development of cooperation between Armenia and Russia in various directions. The PM expressed hope that the joint events in Yerevan will contribute to expansion of partnership.
Other issues of the Armenian-Russian cooperation and of mutual interest were discussed.
