United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres does not consider the transfer of the organization's headquarters from the United States realistic. He said this in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Asked if he feared that many nations would begin to advocate moving the headquarters from the United States to another location, Guterres admitted that he did not think it was realistic.
The host country has an obligation to allow access for delegations from all other countries to come to the UN and do their work within the organization. That position of ours is very clear, the secretary general said.
