Armenia’s special envoy Edmon Marukyan referred to the latest reactions by EU and international community on the aggression by Azerbaijan towards Armenian territory.
“The EU welcomes the ceasefire agreement reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
In addition to the welcoming statements, we expect the EU to take appropriate political measures, as a result of which the Azerbaijani troops will withdraw from the occupied parts of the sovereign territory of Armenia and return to the initial positions of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border as of May 12, 2021” Marukyan said in a statement.
