The European Union calls for an immediate cessation of hostilities on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Toivo Klaar, the EU's special representative for the crisis in South Caucasus and Georgia, wrote about this in his Twitter microblog.
“The fighting along the Armenian-Azerbaijan border & the reported intense shelling need to stop immediately. The EU is in close contact with the sides to contribute to de-escalation,” Klaar tweeted.
