Armenia’s Ministry of Defense published a statement as of 14:00.
“As of 14:00, the situation in some parts of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border continues to be extremely tense. Despite the significant decrease in the intensity of shelling, the enemy continues to attempt positional advancement, particularly in the direction of Nerkin Hand, Verin Shorzha, Artanish and Sotk.
The units of Armenia’s Armed Forces continue to fulfill the combat tasks set before them in full. The initial number of victims as a result of the large-scale aggression of Azerbaijan, 49, has already been published by the Prime Minister of the republic.
After full verification of the data, the Ministry of Defense will announce additional information about the number of victims and wounded. As already mentioned, civil infrastructures were also targeted by Azerbaijani units, as a result of which there are also wounded among civilians.
The Ministry of Defense is studying in detail the videos published on Azerbaijani Telegram channels related to Armenian servicemen. There will also be additional clarifications regarding them,” the statement reads.
