Armenia has appealed to the European Court of Human Rights requesting to apply interim measures against Azerbaijan. The request seeks to protect fundamental rights of the civilian population of Armenia, as well as prisoners of war.
In its submission Armenia also requested the Court to apply Rule 39.2 of the Rules of Court and immediately notify Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe of its decision.
