Ukrainian leader Zelensky said he is not ready to negotiate with Russia at the moment. Speaking to CNN, Zelensky added that "after the Russian soldiers leave Ukrainian territory, an agreement can be signed between the two countries."
Zelensky said he did not see "any desire to be constructive" by Russia, "This is my principle: I do not speak to those who give us ultimatums. I know that some countries push us to the Minsk process," said the Ukrainian leader, adding, "The diplomatic solution is something different. The Minsk agreement is a blank piece of paper."
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in a recent statement on Sunday that Russia had not given up on talks with Ukraine, but that further delay in Kyiv would complicate the possibility of an agreement with Moscow.
