Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland passed away in the evening of September 8, 2022, the Royal Family informed in a Tweet.
“The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow”, the Tweet announced.
