Polish President Andrzej Duda arrived in Kyiv on Tuesday for a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Speaking at a joint news conference with Zelenskyy after talks, Duda said that "we are here in order our brothers in Ukraine know that we support them, that we literally stand with them".
He added that "our presence in Kyiv shows the world that Ukraine is free, sovereign, independent and that it fights against the Russian aggression, for justice and peace."
The two president were to discuss further support for Ukraine including military aid and support of Ukraine in the economic, humanitarian and political sense.
Duda arrived in Kyiv on the invitation of Zelenskyy to participate in Crimea Platform session.
