Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met in Konya with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, who arrived there to participate in the opening ceremony of the fifth Islamic Solidarity Games.
The meeting was closed to the press.
The presidents of Turkey and Azerbaijan exchanged ideas on cooperation in the economy, energy, transport and military spheres. Reference was made to recent regional developments.
