During the meeting of the foreign ministers and transport ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan on August 2 in Uzbekistan, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu referred to the Armenia-Turkey and Armenia-Azerbaijan negotiations.
“We support negotiations aimed at unblocking communications between Azerbaijan and Armenia, border delimitation and concluding a peace treaty,” Çavuşoğlu said, adding that Ankara is also taking steps towards the normalization of relations.
“We are moving forward through meetings of special representatives and consultations with Azerbaijan. The new channels, the launch of which is on the agenda, will connect Middle Asia, South Caucasus, Anatolia and the European region and will contribute to the well-being of the entire region,” concluded the Turkish Foreign Minister.
