Russia is closely following the situation in Armenia and is sincerely interested in the stable and predictable development of the allied country in an atmosphere of peace and national consensus. Ivan Nechayev, Deputy Head of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, said this at a briefing.
“We are interested in the consolidation of the Armenian society, which will take into account the interests of all its groups. We attach great importance to the further comprehensive deepening of alliance relations between Moscow and Yerevan, which is reflected in the joint statement adopted by the leaders of Russia and Armenia on April 19, 2022,” Ivan Nechayev said.
“Moscow is ready, based on Yerevan's request, to provide support in solving the problems facing the country, including expert participation in the reform of the state administration system,” concluded Nechayev.
