Washington considers the next decade to be crucial for US-China relations, especially in economic terms, Jake Sullivan, United States National Security Advisor to President Joe Biden, stated.
He said that the strategy of the current US administration regarding Beijing allows acting from a better position than during the previous President Donald Trump.
Joe Biden's Advisor explained that this strategy comes down to investing in areas of vital importance to the United States, uniting with allies and partners. At the same time, Sullivan considered it important that Washington and Beijing do not allow the competition to turn into a conflict or a new “cold war.”
