Draupadi Murmu has been elected as the 15th President of the country. As an NDA candidate, her victory was ensured as she secured more than 51 per cent of the electoral college votes.
As soon as the counting of the third round was completed, the figures were in her favor and at the end of the counting, the total votes got 2824 the value was 676 803. Whereas Yashwant Sinha got 1877and value was 380 177. A total of 4 thousand 754 votes were cast out of which 53 were invalid votes.
