Former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger in an interview with Bloomberg accused of current European leaders and politicians is that they do not have any guidelines and they do not understand what tasks they actually face.
He criticized French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz for not feeling exactly what their mission was like their predecessors. Kissinger gave them the example of the first Federal Chancellor of the FRG, Konrad Adenauer, and General Charles de Gaulle, who became a symbol of the French Resistance and the first president of the Fifth Republic. The ex-Secretary of State noted that they had a good sense of their purpose and fulfilled their role.
Formerly Kissinger declared that the suitability of the United States and the expediency of the country’s independent policy is now in doubt. He added that he does not see strong leaders in the political arena who are able to meet the challenges of the modern world.
