Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu stated that Ankara plays a leading role in the settlement of the food crisis.
“The Ukraine crisis showed that it is impossible to ensure stability and peace in the region without the participation of Turkey. It is an important player which sincerely works towards ending the war and solving the food crisis,” Çavuşoğlu said.
He expressed the opinion that everyone is counting on Turkey to create safe corridors for the supply of grain and agricultural products by sea from Ukraine.
