Conservative MPs have begun choosing Boris Johnson's successor as party leader and prime minister, BBC reports.
Six candidates remain in the contest after former Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt and Chancellor Nadhim Zahawi failed to get the 30 votes from Tory MPs needed to progress from the first round.
The remaining candidates go through to the next round of voting by Conservative MPs, which is due to take place on Thursday.
Mr Sunak and Ms Mordaunt are the favourites to win the contest, according to betting odds. They lead the field, followed by Ms Truss, Ms Badenoch and Mr Tugendhat.
And Ms Mordaunt tops the latest YouGov poll of party members, winning the backing of 27% of the 879 members who took part, compared with 15% for Ms Badenoch, and 13% each for Mr Sunak and Ms Truss.
The timetable for the Tory leadership race was confirmed by Sir Graham Brady, chairman of the 1922 Committee of the party's backbench MPs. The new prime minister is expected to be announced by 5 September.
