The Kremlin said on Wednesday (July 13) that it hoped U.S. President Joe Biden's visit to Saudi Arabia would not be used to try to foster anti-Russian relations, Reuters reports.
"We sit within the framework of OPEC+ agreements and we highly value cooperation with our partners, including leading partners like Saudi Arabia, we highly value our interests, our relations and our cooperation with Riyadh. And we of course hope that, while building relationships with other world capitals, Riyadh will not be turned against us in any way,"
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also said that Russia highly valued cooperation with Saudi Arabia within the framework of OPEC+ group of world's leading oil producers.
