On June 28, the President of the National Assembly of Armenia Alen Simonyan received the delegation led by the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of Russian Federal Assembly Alexey Gordeyev.
The President of the National Assembly stressed that adequate work is underway in the further development of the Armenian-Russian allied relations in different spheres. He emphasized that the political dialogue between Armenia and Russia is of stable strategic character, and the key of success is the effective dialogue of the first persons of our states. Alen Simonyan highlighted the inter-parliamentary cooperation and the availability of the non-interrupting agendas.
The sides documented that they intend to give a boost to the cooperation dynamics of the countries, taking into consideration the political events of the regional and international other platforms.
At the meeting, the importance of the Armenian-Russian economic relations in the global integration processes was discussed, especially referring to the perspectives of the Eurasian Economic Union.
