About 20 civilians have left the site of the Azot plant in Sherodonetsk, said Lugansk Ambassador to Russia Rodion Miroshnik.
The head of the Lugansk regional military administration said that 568 people, including 38 children, are currently hiding in the shelters of the industrial zone.
“It is mainly about the employees of the enterprise and their families. They refused to evacuate,” Sergey Gaiday explained.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the fate of Donbas will be decided in the battle for Severodonetsk.
