The Governor of Shirak Nazeli Baghdasaryan attended the launch of the EU Gender Equality Action Plan, which was attended by the Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia Andrea Wiktorin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia Anne Louyot, Head of the UN Population Fund Armenia (UNFPA) Tsovinar Harutyunyan, NGOs and foundations representatives.
The purpose of the event was to discuss issues related to ensuring equal rights and opportunities for women and men in Armenia, developed by the EU based on consultations with the Armenian authorities, women's organizations, civil society figures, and EU member states.
The participants presented their inspiring stories, which were aimed at overcoming stereotypes, ensuring an inclusive and equal environment.
