Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took part in the enlarged session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Minsk.
In his speech, the Armenian leader referred to the current challenges, which are mainly related to supply chains.
Nikol Pashinyan presented the solutions to the problems existing in the economic union, noting that the experience of recent years proves that the obstacles faced by business stem from the lack of unified, systematic, harmonized rules.
Nikol Pashinyan (Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia) - In the context of modern economic challenges, one of the most important issues remains the provision of food security in our countries.
At present, for objective reasons, there are restrictions on the supply of certain types of agricultural products in the general agricultural market, which may adversely affect the sustainable agricultural activities in our countries, in general, the Union's food supply.
Due to this fact, I expect that the member states of the union should react to the risks on a collective basis, minimizing the possibility of food shortages.
