French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, who have recently visited Kyiv, refused to comply with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's request for the immediate transfer of a new batch of weapons, The Los Angeles Times reports.
The author of the article noted that the West is showing “signs of fatigue from Ukraine” due to the negative effects of anti-Russian sanctions on the economies of European countries. He noted that the three European leaders did not fulfill Zelensky's “most sincere wish” for a quick supply of weapons. After the meeting with the President of Ukraine, Macron announced that the Western countries will not provide planes, tanks and attack tanks to Kyiv.
