Although the United States has severed ties with Russia over the war in Ukraine, it is ready to continue cooperating in the OSCE Minsk Group on Karabakh for a peaceful and lasting settlement, US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Karen Donfried said in an interview with RFE / RL.
She noted that the United States continues to believe that this is a very powerful platform, especially for the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, and assured that France, the United States and Russia will continue to do so.
The US Assistant Secretary of State stated that Azerbaijan does not support the Minsk Group co-chairing process, but the United States supports, participates and will continue to participate in the process.
According to the representative of Washington, now is the time for opportunities for the region, and the United States will help Armenia achieve peace.
