The West should not assume that without the supply of weapons, Ukrainian would be willing to make any concessions to Russia.
If arms supplies to Ukraine stop, then the Ukrainian military will “fight with shovels” against Russia. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba on the air of the German TV channel ARD.
"If we don’t get weapons, fine, then we will fight with shovels, but we will defend ourselves because this war is a war for our existence", Kuleba stressed.
The Minister emphasized that currently Ukraine has much less weapons than Russia.
"So the sooner we get guns, the sooner they are sent, the greater the help to us. If weapons are sent later, we will still say thank you, but then a lot will be lost, many people will have died", he added.
