On June 15, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Kazakhstan Armen Ghevondyan presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
At the solemn ceremony held in Akorda presidential palace of Kazakhstan, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that Armenia is one of the key partners of Kazakhstan in the CIS region.
Stressing that bilateral relations with Armenia are based on deep historical ties, the Kazakh leader expressed hope that lasting peace and prosperity in the strategically important South Caucasus region will further strengthen the Armenian-Kazakh multilateral bilateral and multilateral partnership.
At the following briefing, Ambassador A. Ghevondyan expressed readiness to make efforts on the friendship of peoples, sovereignty, mutual respect for independence, and other cooperation between Armenia and Kazakhstan.
