Ukrainian President Zelensky has called on American Jews to help tighten sanctions on Russia, as well as speed up arms supplies to the republic. The Telegram channel of the President’s Office reported this.
According to Zelensky, the speed of the liberation of the “occupied regions” depends on it.
“We need a powerful offensive weapon, without which the war will only be prolonged. I know that you have already helped a lot. But you can use your influence more,” the Ukrainian leader told the American Jewish Committee Global Forum.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky had appealed to Western countries to increase arms supplies to Kyiv, as he had criticized them for not being tough enough on Russia. According to Zelensky, they support Ukraine, but at the same time are discussing ways to ease sanctions.
