President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky presented his vision of victory in the conflict. According to him, Kyiv must restore the positions he held until February 24, and then return Crimea and Donbas through diplomacy.
“Ukraine will definitely win this war. It is another question when and at what price. I do not think we can restore our territorial integrity only by military means. In that case, we will lose hundreds of thousands of people,” he said, adding that Kyiv would not yield to Russia neither Crimea nor Donbas.
Zelensky stressed that if European leaders do not want to see Ukraine in the European Union, they must clearly state their position. He opposed any alternative to EU membership.
