According to Andriy Melnyk, Ukraine's ambassador to Germany, Berlin has left Kyiv in military terms.
“They probably do not have the courage to provide heavy weapons to our country,” Melnyk said.
He stressed that there are no encouraging signals on Ukraine's EU membership either.
Germany’s Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck denied accusations by Ukraine that Germany is not making efforts to support Kyiv, including in arms supplies.
“While we are talking, Ukrainian soldiers are learning how to use German self-propelled howitzers. Germany will supply them to Ukraine in the near future. However, Berlin cannot fulfill all of Kyiv's wishes,” the official explained.
