On May 27, political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Armenia took place in Yerevan.
The Armenian delegation was headed by the RA Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan, the Bulgarian one by the Bulgarian Deputy Foreign Minister Irena Dimitrova.
During the consultations, the interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues on the Armenian-Bulgarian bilateral political agenda, and stressed with satisfaction the high level of political dialogue.
They exchanged views on a number of issues on the regional and international agenda of mutual interest.
At the end of the consultations, Irena Dimitrova was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan.
The interlocutors touched upon the Armenian-Bulgarian bilateral cooperation, in particular, the cooperation in the economic-cultural spheres, as well as in the multilateral platforms.
The Armenian side reiterated Bulgaria's position on the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in support of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing efforts.
