In terms of investments, Diaspora Armenians are very interested. Armenia’s Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan said this during a briefing in the Government.
He mentioned that a poll was conducted. About 2,000 respondents answered the questions, 74% of whom said they were interested in investing in new financial instruments in Armenia.
“We have presented the results of that survey to the Prime Minister’s Office, and further actions will follow from our general domestic discussions. We already see significant investments from the Diaspora, mainly from the United States, Russia and Europe, as well as from the Middle East,” he said, noting that there is great interest from Russia and other countries.
“In that sense, the investment environment is really promising,” Vahan Kerobyan added.
