I see very moderate optimism. During the Parliament briefings, the deputy of the ‘Civil Contract’ faction, the Chairman of the State-Legal Affairs Committee Vladimir Vardanyan said, referring to the issue on the Armenian-Azerbaijani delimitation and demarcation commissions.
“The process started at least at the level of acts. Relevant acts have been made, commissions have been set up to start the work. There are some agreements reached, it seems that very moderate optimism can be seen in this process, that the representatives of our neighboring country tend not to fail this process, to advance the process according to the established procedure, with the agreements reached.
In general, demarcation and delimitation are quite a long, technically difficult process, in the case of this process, the political will, the professionalism of the people involved, the support of all international partners will only be a positive signal for the successful completion of this process,” Vardanyan said.
