At today's briefing, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova answered the question of ‘Lurer’ how she assesses the activity of the trilateral working group on regional and economic ties as well as communication unblocking.
“Moscow considers the issue of unblocking all transport and economic ties in the South Caucasus one of the key issues in the context of normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and cooperation in the region. We highly appreciate the activity of the trilateral working group on the issue of unblocking. The co-chairs of this group are in regular contact in order to work out decisions that satisfy all parties,” Zakharova said.
She also reminded that last week Russian Co-Chair, Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk visited Yerevan to discuss communication issues with Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
