Czech President Milos Zeman allowed 103 citizens of the republic to join the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was reported today, May 11, by the ČTK news agency, citing the press service of the head of state.
It is noted that the signature under the document, according to which Zeman allowed 103 citizens to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, should also be put by the Prime Minister of the Republic Peter Fiala. Czech law prohibits citizens from serving in foreign military or paramilitary units without the consent of the head of state. This requirement also applies to foreigners who have a residence permit in the republic.
