The Public Relations and Information Department of Armenia’s Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports informs that from May 11 ‘Under the spell of Ararat -Treasures from Ancient Armenia’ exhibition will be open in the Drents Museum in Assen, the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
It is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The exhibition includes a significant archaeological collection from the History Museum of Armenia, consisting of more than 150 museum specimens, including the relic of Noah's Ark kept in the Museum of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
Tools, pottery, weapons, jewelry, monuments and other cultural values excavated from the territory of the Republic of Armenia will be exhibited. The exhibition will provide an opportunity to discover the ancient, rich culture of Armenia, from the earliest times to the conversion to Christianity. It will be open until October 30.
