Moscow referred to the domestic political events in Armenia. “Russia is interested in the stable, secure and peaceful development of the allied country”, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Alexei Zaitsev announced during the weekly briefing.
“The Russian side thinks that all the issues should be regulated exclusively in the legal-constitutional field, in accordance with democratic procedures”, Zaitsev added and stressed that Russia unconditionally supports the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan through the implementation of all the provisions of November 9 2020, January 11 and November 26 2021 trilateral statements, as well as the signing of the Yerevan-Baku peace agreement.”
