Americans with military training, along with thousands of other foreigners, are fighting in Ukraine. This was reported by the Associated Press and Politico newspaper.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said about 7,000 mercenaries from more than 60 countries had arrived in Ukraine since the start of the Russian special operation. According to Zakharova, among them are citizens of Poland, USA, Canada, Romania, Great Britain, Georgia.
The US Congressmen also suggested using the country's armed forces to defend Ukraine if Russia uses weapons of mass destruction - chemical, biological or nuclear. The militant resolution was drafted by Adam Kinzinger, a member of the Republican Party in the House of Representatives.
